The aim of the following course is to provide background knowledge on aluminium as a material. It is a useful course for anyone entering the aluminium industry, as well as providing a good foundation for the other courses on offer.

The course is designed for graduates in an engineering or materials discipline. However, experienced operators would also benefit from attending.

The duration of the course is three days, with each module taking approximately half a day. We try to restrict the attendance to a maximum of 8 people, to allow ample time for questions and discussion.

Each delegate receives a full set of course materials.

• Introduction to Property Measurement and Control
• Introduction to Surface Treatment and Coating
• Experimental techniques for Problem Solving
