Innoval Technology is looking to augment its current specialist teams with vacancies in the following areas: Metallurgist / Material Scientist You would have a minimum of several years experience in an industrial R & D environment, be professionally qualified and be able to manage projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. Specific knowledge of aluminium materials and products in a wide range of industries would be a distinct advantage. In this role you will assist the Technical Manager / Programme Manager in alloy development, technology transfer, material characterisation, failure analysis and support a multi-national client base in the area of automotive heat exchangers. This latter role encompasses liaising and developing projects with both materials suppliers and OEM's. You will need good communications skills and be used to interacting at all levels with clients, posses excellent analytical and problem solving skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work within a team environment and have a willingness to share knowledge and experience with others. The ability to prepare both market and technology based reports, in addition to preparing and presenting technical papers at conferences and seminars is also required. Process Engineer / Consultant You would have a minimum of several years experience in a production or industrial R & D environment, be professionally qualified and be able to manage projects in a multi-disciplinary team. Specific knowledge of production processes and/or process control in the metal rolling industry would be a distinct advantage. In this role you will join a world-class team of specialists providing a unique trouble-shooting resource, capable of solving even the most complex of metals processing problems. The candidate will support a multi-national client base in addressing issues including quality and productivity improvement, reduced energy consumption, equipment upgrades, process training, plant and process audits. You will need good communications skills and be used to interacting at all levels with clients, posses excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be self-motivated with the ability to work within a team environment. The ability to prepare technology based reports and to make technical presentations to clients is also required.
