NEXT COURSE: 13 - 17th MAY 2013
Download the registration form here.
This course covers all key aspects of hot and
cold rolling of aluminium flat products. Many of the presentations
are supplemented by hands-on workshop sessions.
The course is primarily designed for engineers
and managers who work in aluminium rolling. However, those involved
in the rolling of other metals would find the course equally valuable.
The duration of the course is four and a half
days. We try to restrict the attendance to a maximum of 12 people,
to allow ample time for questions and discussion.
Each delegate receives a 750 page colour reference
manual containing the presentation and workshop material.

We are pleased to announce that the Aluminium Rolling Technology Course
has gained Professional Development recognition by the
Institute of
Materials, Minerals & Mining.

I really enjoyed this course. The way modules such as vibration and the mechanics of rolling were taught made them really easy to understand. I also liked the close contact with the instructors; they were always available to give us answers, and they have so much industry experience. Finally, it made a real difference for me that the course was focused on Aluminium.
Luiz Alves, Sheet Rolling Supervisor, Alcoa Aluminio S.A.

I was particularly impressed by the presenters' effectiveness in conveying some difficult concepts to a diverse group of delegates. I have attended rolling courses before, but none with this level of clarity. The order of the different modules enabled an efficient transfer of knowledge.
 Frans Spring, Process Specialist, Hulamin

All the teachers are experts in aluminium technology. This course gave me the opportunity to add the theory of rolling to my practical background.
 Matteo Paci, Production Manager, Profilglass

The course gave a very good overview of the whole rolling process. The presentations were easy to understand, and the notes are excellent for further study. I liked the small group size and the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the first day to the last.
Timm Sugg, Engineer for Production Technology, Rio Tinto Alcan
