This course is for you!
Following on from the success of our rolling course, we’re now offering an Aluminium Extruded Products training course as an ‘open’ course. This means anyone can attend.
By understanding basic extrusion metallurgy and how extrusions are made, you’ll be able to diagnose and solve problem more quickly.
The course outline is as follows:
Technical specialists with expertise in aluminium extrusions will write and deliver this course. What’s more, these consultants have worked in the industry for many years.
It is principally aimed at end users of 6000-series aluminium extruded products. However, we teach metallurgical principals that are relevant to other ‘soft’ alloys and also to ‘hard’ alloy extrusion (2000-series and 7000-series).
This training course would also benefit new hires or non-technical staff from extrusion companies
The course will be 1.5 days long and it will take place at our offices in Banbury, UK.
Please see above for the dates of the next course.
The cost is £450 per person which includes a full set of course materials. Please note that the cost does not include travel expenses.
We would like to keep the group small (maximum 12 people) to allow plenty of time for questions and interaction with the tutors. However, this may mean that the course fills up quickly.
