Lucy is part of our Materials Development group.
She joined us in early 2022 immediately after her PhD at Swansea University.
In 2017 Lucy gained an undergraduate BEng degree in Materials Engineering at Swansea University. She then went on to complete an MSc via research in collaboration with Tata Steel which looked at testing the marine applications of steelmaking slag. This research then led to a PhD at Swansea University in which novel applications of steelmaking slag were developed and tested. From this research Lucy published several academic papers.
Lucy joined Innoval in January 2022 and she is part of our Materials Development team. She carries out several different materials characterisation techniques, exploiting her previous experience of microscopy, materials analysis and experimental design.
