Diagnose and solve rolling problems faster.

Improve your mill performance.
Strengthen your engineering team.

Five days of learning directly from engineers with a lifetime of rolling mill experience.

  • Diagnose rolling problems faster
  • Improve mill performance
  • Understand rolling mechanics, friction and lubrication
  • Improve gauge, profile and flatness control
  • Identify root causes of rolling defects

Our Aluminium Rolling Technology Course will give you more in-house problem solving capability, so you’re less reliant on your suppliers.

You’ll get an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of aluminium rolling from internationally recognised experts.

This course is the only rolling course specifically for aluminium. It’s our most popular training course and, since the first one in 2005, we’ve welcomed delegates from over 90 different companies.

How this course can help.

The Aluminium Rolling Technology Course covers all the key aspects of hot and cold rolling of aluminium flat products. Our consultants, who have a huge amount of industry experience, write and deliver the modules. They’re very familiar with the day-to-day issues of a rolling plant and they’ve created this course to help you solve them. Many of the presentations are supplemented with hands-on workshop sessions.

The course explores key aspects of aluminium rolling, including:

  • Aluminium rolling mill engineers
  • Process engineers
  • Metallurgists
  • Production managers
  • Technical directors

Each delegate receives a 1100 page reference manual containing the presentation and workshop material, as well as an electronic version on an encrypted USB stick. We’ll also give you a smart bag to carry them home in!

This course is recognised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) as Professional Development.

Who's this course for?

The course is primarily designed for engineers and managers who work in aluminium rolling. However, it would also benefit managers requiring an up-to-date overview of quality-improving technology, as well as engineers new to the field of rolling.

  • Aluminium rolling mill engineers
  • Process engineers
  • Metallurgists
  • Production managers
  • Technical directors
