Having delivered this course in-house to several of our clients, we are now pleased to offer Aluminium Automotive Sheet as an ‘open’ event. The course is based upon the training element of our Automotive Sheet Knowledge Transfer & Training Package.
Our Aluminium Automotive Sheet training course is specifically for companies new to making or using this product. It is written and delivered by technical specialists with expertise in automotive sheet. Furthermore, they’ve all worked in the aluminium industry for many years.
If you’re new to aluminium in the automotive industry, this course provides excellent background knowledge.
The aim of our Aluminium Automotive Sheet training course is to increase your knowledge of material behaviour during manufacture and in service. The course will help you develop a thorough understanding of automotive sheet from a materials point of view. Consequently, you will be able to get to the root cause of problems faster and use your knowledge to improve processes and develop better products.
The course outline is below and you will find a sample agenda on the registration form. However, you will find detailed contents of each module in the downloadable pdf on this page (for a Chinese version click here):
Our Aluminium Automotive Sheet training course is designed for potential entrants to the automotive sheet market. However, it’s also suitable for anyone in the supply chain. The course is aimed at Senior Managers and Technical Specialists.
The course is 2.5 days long and it will take place at our offices in Banbury, UK, on the dates shown above.
On the second afternoon of the course we will visit the manufacturing facility of Jaguar Land Rover at Solihull to see how aluminium automotive sheet is used.
The cost is £1,800 per person (rising to £2,000 approx. one month before) which includes a full set of course materials. Please note that the cost does not include travel expenses.
We would like to keep the group small (maximum 12 people) to allow plenty of time for questions and interaction with the tutors. However, this may mean that the course fills up quickly.
