Aluminium Extrusion Training Course

If you work in aluminium extrusion or you’re a supplier to an extrusion company, this course is for you

A thorough understanding of aluminium extrusion from a materials point of view will help you get to the root cause of problems faster. You’ll also be able to develop better products.

If you’re new to extruded products, this training course provides excellent background knowledge.

How this course can help

The aim of our Aluminium Extrusion training course is to increase your knowledge of material behaviour during fabrication and in service. We cover topics such as basic metallurgy, billet homogenisation and everything about the extrusion process and aging.

This course is written and delivered by technical specialists with expertise in aluminium extrusion who have worked in the industry for many years.

Who is it for?

Our Aluminium Extrusion training course is designed for graduates in an engineering or materials discipline. However, experienced operators would also benefit from attending.

Each delegate receives a full set of course materials.

How long is the course and when is the next one?

The course is usually two days long, with each module taking approximately half a day. As with all of our training courses (apart from the Aluminium Rolling Technology Course), it is bespoke. This means we design this course specifically to your requirements, taking into account your products, processes and the experience of your people. We then send our consultants to deliver the course on your site at a time that is convenient to you.

You get the training you really need in the most efficient way possible; everyone learns together whilst avoiding costly travel expenses.

If you click on the Course Details pdf you’ll see a list of modules which provide a guide for us to work around when designing your course.

Did you know we’ve just launched a public course for Extruded Products? Have a look at the details here.
